Shall I compare thee to a...runway...

Life is not a bowl of cherries...life is not what you make it...life is a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death but that is because most do not realize that life is a runway...

As if we were airplanes jetting on and off from one experience or journey to the next...one time zone to another land of unfamiliar faces...life is a runway...

And most importantly...life is a runway of the model...when we walk and strut and fret our hour in a mask sometimes made by another sometimes fashioned by our own foibles and fantastics...we march and show our pride...we demure and coyly prance...we start and we finish all to a beat that allows one to proceed sometimes steadily and sometimes taking a fall but alas, we put one well heeled foot in front of the other...

Maxi wishes all of you a HAPPY (upcoming) NEW YORK FASHION WEEK...

Please enjoy the photos and remember the one of me is obscured due to (I hate to bore you with reminders) my billion dollar contract with an undisclosed corporation...

I send well moisturized glimmering and glossy kisses...

around the apple...that is grand...

Maxi has been staying at her large flat in NYC recently. Slightly gearing up for Fashion Week and slightly trying to enjoy the cold air to even my skin tone before Singapore for a new shoot. I recently viewed the Egon Schiele's at the Neue Gallerie...amazing...thin and depressed...this artist clearly understands the wonder and beauty of life...it is like Egon and Maxi fused...

I have something scary to report...truly. I was in the sitting room in my loft and from the next room (my bedroom) a mirror fell to the ground and shattered... I have never broken a mirror...I am not superstitious but am quite unsettled about this possibility... please send good karmic rechargements from your little red string bracelets...Maxi needs it...

Well...I am going to wipe the mayonnaise off my face now (an Eastern European technique I learned from Paulina) and head out to yet another art show...this one by the hand of the darling...OLAN...
